For my Typography & Layout class, I came up with a fictional musician named Arlo, inspired by Finn the Human from '“Adventure Time.” Using Adobe Illustrator, I developed a custom typeface reflective of Arlo's persona. I then uploaded my typeface into BirdFont, font creation software. Employing this typeface, I designed a diverse array of promotional materials for Arlo’s Butterflies & Bees Tour, including billboards, posters, Instagram posts, a sweatshirt, and stickers, all tailored to represent Arlo's indie-folk persona. This project not only refined my design skills but also unleashed my creativity in bringing a fictional character to life through music and design.
